Benjamin Firminger was born circa 1847.1
He married Caroline Judith Craney, daughter of James Robinson Craney and Judith Rice Pownceby, circa 1875.1
He was recorded as head of household in the 1911 census with Caroline Judith Craney as his spouse at Chine Cresent, Durley Grange, Bournemouth, Dorset. He was recorded as being 62 years old. Also living in the house was their married daughter Winfred (who was married to a ship's officer) and their two-year-old grandson.2 His occupation was recorded as being listed as having 'private means' in the census.2
