Alfred was born on Tuesday, 23 March 1909 at Carelton, Ontario.3 He was the son of Arthur Henry Nicholson and Sarah Catherine Taylor.1,3

Alfred Donald Nicholson married Margaret Ogilvy Wilson on Saturday, 11 March 1933 at Montreal, Quebec. They were 23 and 19 respectively.4

Alfred died on 11 November 1962 at Montreal, Quebec, at age 53.5
