Ann Lancaster married Thomas Medhurst Nicholson, son of Donald Nicholson and Elizabeth Ann Medhurst, in June 1888 at Liverpool.1 As of 1891, Ann Lancaster was also known as Annie.2
Ann Lancaster was recorded as the spouse of Thomas Medhurst Nicholson in the 1891 census at 13 Stonehill Street, Liverpool. She was recorded as being 32 years old. Also living in the house were their two children, and two children from Ann's previous marriage.2
Ann Lancaster was recorded as the spouse of Thomas Medhurst Nicholson in the 1901 census at 9 Dawber street, Everton, Liverpool. She was recorded as being 43 years old. Also living in the house were two boys from her first marriage (now apparently having taken her husband's name) and four of their children.3
She was recorded as head of household in the 1911 census at 32 Breckfield Road, South Liverpool. She was recorded as being 53 years old; also living in the five-room house were 5 of her children and a boarder.4
