Charlotte Whyte was born circa 1835.1

She married Donald Brown, son of John Brown and Margaret Miller, at St. Andrew's Scots Presbyterian Church on Saturday, 24 February 1855 at Sydney. Donald was the son of a sawyer. And Frances Cameron Ross Brown. Others who may have attended the wedding include Margaret Miller as mother of the groom and John Brown as father of the groom. Brothers and sisters who may have attended include Margaret Brown, Jessie Brown, John Brown, Alexander Brown and Agnes Brown. Charlotte and Donald went on to have nine known children together.2 Charlotte and Donald lived in 1856 at the Sydney area of Balmain.3 She presumably lived with her spouse Donald at Balmain in 1863.4
