Sarah Brown was born on 13 November 1801 at Hertford.1,2 She was the daughter of George Brown and Sarah (?)2 Sarah Brown was baptised at St. Lawrence on Sunday, 25 March 1804 at Bengeo, Hertford.2
She was recorded as living with her two cousins in the 1851 census at Port Hill, Bengeo, Hertford. She was recorded as being 50 years old.1 At this time her occupation was given as 'domestic occupations'.1
