He was living with Thomas Rogers and family at Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, circa 1805.1 Benjamin Rogers was baptised at St. Augustine's on Sunday, 21 April 1805 at Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.1 He was the son of Thomas Rogers and Jane Darby.1 Jane Darby's nephew Richard died 14 February 1827, so her children received £50 each from the estate of her father.
Benjamin Rogers married Ann (?) circa 1835.2 Benjamin Rogers was a bricklayer in March 1851.2
He was recorded as head of household in the 1851 census with Ann (?) as his spouse. He was 45 years old. He was recorded as being 46 years old. Also living in the house was his three children and his mother.2
