Bessie Bird was born on 12 March 1919 at New South Wales.1 She was the daughter of Frank J. Bird and Alexandria Olliver.1 Soon after the birth of their third child, the Bird family sat for a posed photograph.

Bessie Bird married Aubrey Provost Reeder circa 1940.1 A photograph ws taken of Bessie circa 1980.

Bessie died on 4 June 1983 at Prince of Wales Hospital, in Sydney, at age 64.1
