Christian Gibb was born circa 1823 at Aberdeenshire.1,2 She was the daughter of James Gibb and Christian Angus.1 Christian Gibb was a dressmaker.2

Christian Gibb was recorded as living with the Legg family and members of her own family in the 1841 census at Netherkirkgate, Aberdeen. The 1841 census only recorded adult ages rounded down to the nearest 5 years; her approximate age was recorded as 18 years old.2

She married Charles Lamont, at the Free Union Church on Wednesday, 22 November 1848 at Old Machar, Aberdeen..3,4 As of 1851, Christian Gibb was also known as Christina.1

Christian Gibb was recorded as the spouse of Charles Lamont in the 1851 census at Church Terrace, Tranmere, Cheshire. She was recorded as being 26 years old. Also living in the house was their son, her husband's niece abnd brother and a visitor.1

Christian Gibb was recorded as the spouse of Charles Lamont in the 1861 census at St. Helen's Road, Sutton, Lancashire. She was recorded as being 38 years old. Also in the house were two of their children and a lodger.5

Her father died 20 July 1864 at the approximate age of 67.

Christian Gibb was recorded as the spouse of Charles Lamont in the 1871 census at 4a Church Terrace, Tranmere, Cheshire. She was recorded as being 47 years old. Also living with them were their 4 children.6

Christian Gibb was recorded as the spouse of Charles Lamont in the 1881 census at 106 Huskisson Street, Liverpool. She was recorded as being 57 years old. Also living in the house were three of their children and a servant.7

She was recorded as head of household in the 1891 census at 3 Viewmount, Mussgh, Midlothian, Scotland. Her age was recorded as 67 years old; also living in the house was her daughter Euphemia.8 Christian Gibb was living on private means on 6 April 1891.8

Christian died in 1906 at Scotland.9
