Hannah Wayte was baptised on Sunday, 2 October 1796 at Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Wayte and Mary (?)1 Hannah was employed by the Post Office at Tutbury, Staffordshire, on 16 October 1843.2

She was recorded as head of household in the 1851 census at Tutbury, Staffordshire. She was 54 years old.3 She was employed in the post office and was also a stationer in April 1851.3

Hannah may have died circa June 1854 at Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.4
