Andrew Manthorpe was born on 11 November 1828 at Herringfleet, Suffolk.5,1,2,4 He was the son of William Manthorpe and Hannah Read.4 Andrew Manthorpe was baptised on Sunday, 21 December 1828 at Herringfleet, Suffolk.5
He was recorded as living with his parents and his older siblings Hannah, Robert and James in the 1841 census at Herringfleet, Suffolk. He was recorded as being 12 years old.6 Andrew lived on 7 June 1841 at Herringfleet, Suffolk.2,4 Andrew lived in 1851 at Herringfleet, Suffolk.1,4 He was an agricultural labourer in March 1851.7
He was recorded as living with and Robert in the 1851 census at 13 Hall Basin(?), Herringfleet, Suffolk.7
Andrew Manthorpe married Matilda Newman in 1854 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.4
His mother died 13 August 1872 at the age of 85 at the approximate age of 86. Andrew was aged 43 when this happened.
His father died June 1873 at the age of 86. Andrew was aged 44 when this happened.
Andrew died in September 1901 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, at age 72.4
