William, as the father of the groom, may have attended the wedding of John and Martha Darby in a Church of England ceremony at St. Pancras Parish Chapel on Wednesday, 11 January 1837 at St. Pancras, London. Others who may have attended include Elizabeth (?) as mother of the bride and George Darby as father of the bride. John and Martha went on to have two children together.3,4,5
