William Olliver was born circa 1813 at Sussex.2,3

It's likely that William Olliver and Ann Grubb had begun a relationship by 1848 as their first child was born soon after. They were to claim on the birth certificates of their children that they were married in 1843.4 William Olliver was a baker in 1861.2

He married Ann Grubb, daughter of William Grubb and Elizabeth Reid, on Monday, 18 February 1861 at Goulburn, New South Wales. This formalised their long-term relationship...1,2

William, as the father of the groom, may have attended the wedding of Henry and Mary Jane Nicholson in a Presbyterian ceremony at her father's house on Sunday, 8 September 1872 at Bushman's Lead, New South Wales. Henry was 21 and his wife Mary was 20. Margaret Brown as mother of the bride and Donald Nicholson as father of the bride. Mary and Henry went on to have 10 children together.5 William Olliver was a carpenter.3

William died on 1 January 1886 at Forbes, New South Wales, His cause of death was senile decay..3 His body was interred on 5 January 1886 at Forbes, New South Wales.3
