Anne Jameson was born circa 1839 at Bolton, Lancashire.1 She was the daughter of James Jameson and Nancy Calderbank.1 Anne Jameson was a cotton steam loom weaver in March 1851.2

She was recorded as living with her parents and siblings Betsy, Fanny, Mary, John and James in the 1851 census at Barn Street, Bolton, Lancashire. She was recorded as being 12 years old.2 Anne Jameson was a cotton powerloom weaver in April 1861.1

She was recorded as living with her parents, two of her sister's children and her siblings Betsy, Mary, John and James in the 1861 census at 56 Asburner Street, Bolton, Lancashire. She was recorded as being 22 years old.1
