Jane Allison was born circa 1820 at Wigton, Cumberland.1
She was recorded as head of household in the 1871 census at 30 Hampdon Street, Bolton, Lancashire. She is recorded as being 53 years old. Also in the house were her older sister Jane as well as two young brothers, born in South Australia who were lodging with them.1
