Margaret Westbrook was born in 1878 at the small Tasmanian town of Evandale.1 She was the daughter of Harry Fookes Westbrook and Sarah Ann Pearce.1

Margaret Westbrook married Percy Rigney circa 1900.2 Margaret left Percy circa 1930.2 She lived with her mother at 3 Aspley Street, in South Hobart. This house was the Commandant's residence for the Cascades Women’s Convict prison. She lived here with her daughter.2 Margaret Westbrook moved to Hobart.2

Margaret died in 1970.2
