Thomas Kennedy Westbrook was born in 1895 at the Sydney suburb of Waverley. He was the son of Thomas Lempriere Westbrook and Margaret Elizabeth Martin.
Thomas died on 7 May 1917 at Bullecourt, France, during the Great War. He was buried at Villiers-Bretonneux, France. He never married, and had no known children.
