Montague George Westbrook was born on 5 May 1874. He was the son of Thomas Westbrook and Fanny Elizabeth Lempriere. He presumably lived with his parents at at Roselle Villa in the Hobart suburb of Bellerive, Tasmania, in June 1881.1
