Mary Kate King was born on 6 February 1864 at Circular Head, Tasmania.1,2 She was the daughter of George James King and Catherine Jane Robinson Berjew.1
Mary Kate King married Allan Herbert Edgar at St. Luke's on Sunday, 6 January 1884 at South Melbourne. They were 19 and 19 respectively.1 She presumably lived with her spouse Allan at Stanley, Tasmania, in 1914.2
Mary died on 8 January 1945 at Circular Head, Tasmania, at age 80.2 Her body was interred at Stanley Pioneer Burial Ground at Stanley, Tasmania.2
