Mary-Ann Oaten was also known as Mary Ann.1 She may have been baptised at St. Mary on Thursday, 17 January 1805 at Taunton, Somerset.2 She was the daughter of John Oaten and Hannah Tamsey. She presumably moved with her parents to London circa 1811. It isn't clear what prompted the move.3
