Leslie was born on Saturday, 13 September 1913 at Toowoomba, Queensland.1 He was the son of John Leslie Breheny and Dora Fookes Reid. He presumably lived with his parents in 1922.2 Leslie Warren Breheny was a flour miller.1
Leslie Warren Breheny married Betty Morey on Saturday, 6 July 1940 at the Hobart suburb of New Town. They were 26 and 25 respectively.1 Leslie and Betty lived in 1943 at at Merrivale Street in the small Tasmanian town of Evandale.1
Leslie died on 16 August 1991 at Launceston, Tasmania, at age 77.1 His body was interred at St. Andrew's Anglican at Perth, Tasmania.1
