Robert was born circa 1770 at Ireland.

He married Elizabeth (?), circa 1790 at Ireland..

Robert and Elizabeth (?) may have become the parents of William Hyde Holmes circa 1803 at Kilmallock, County Limerick. He said he was 38 in 1842, (which has him born circa 1803), his short death notice has him at age 70 in 1864 (which has him born about 1794).1,2,3

Robert died after February 1842.4
