Alma was born on Monday, 5 July 1920 at the Melbourne suburb of Preston.1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Henry Oaten and Ida Louisa Hughina Bruce. She presumably lived with her parents at at 17 Kelvin Grove in the Melbourne suburb of Northcote in 1924.3 She presumably lived with her parents at Northcote in 1925.4 Alma Louise Oaten was a packer in 1942.5
Alma Louise Oaten married Robert Johnston Archibald circa 1945.6 Alma lived in 1954 at the Melbourne suburb of Mentone.6 Alma lived in 1967 at the Melbourne suburb of Springvale.6
Alma died on 19 June 2008 at age 87.7
