Charlotte was born in 1880 at St. Arnaud, Victoria.1 She was the daughter of Albert Edward Oaten and Hannah Ackers. As of circa 1890, Charlotte Amelia Oaten was also known as Milly.2 She presumably lived with her parents at Nicholson Street, in Ballarat, Victoria, in December 1890.3
She married Thomas Claudius Edward Mason, son of C. Stephen Mason, at St. Martin's on Wednesday, 28 October 1903 at the Melbourne suburb of Hawksburn..2,4
Charlotte Amelia Oaten married (?) Tibb circa 1910.5
Charlotte died in 1957 at the Melbourne suburb of Mordialloc.5
