George James King

George James King was also known as James.1 George was born on Saturday, 11 July 1835.2

He married Catherine Jane Robinson Berjew, daughter of John Berjew and Catherine Jane Iles Fooks, at St. Paul's on Wednesday, 8 April 1863 at Stanley, Tasmania. He was 27 and his wife Catherine was 22..3 George James King was a farm manager for the Van Diemen's Land Company circa 1914 at 'Highfield', Tasmania.1

George died on 9 February 1924 at Stanley, Tasmania, at age 88.4 His body was interred at Stanley Pioneer Burial Ground at Stanley, Tasmania.4
