Hilton George Olliver was also known as George Hilton Olliver.2 Hilton was born at Victoria Street on Sunday, 11 May 1890 at Parkes, New South Wales.3,4 He was the son of Henry Olliver and Mary Jane Nicholson.

He married Jessie Tuft, on Sunday, 31 January 1909 at the Sydney suburb of Canturbury.5,6

He married Mabel Rose Foster, on Monday, 3 April 1916 at Palmeston North, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand.7

Hilton George Olliver fought in the Great War. He was with the Camel Corps in Egypt, and has left a diary and letters to his wife from this time. in 1917 at Egypt.8,9 Hilton and Mabel lived in September 1932 at Palmeston North, Manawatu-Wanganui.8 Hilton and Mabel lived circa 1934 at New Zealand.10

Hilton died on 11 July 1966 at New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand, at age 76.1
