Alfred was born on Tuesday, 31 October 1843 at Banbury, Oxfordshire.1 Alfred lived in 1851 at Parson's Street, in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
He married Catherine Joan Fooks Berjew, daughter of John Berjew and Catherine Jane Iles Fooks, on Wednesday, 4 October 1876 at Stanley, Tasmania. He was 32 and his wife Catherine was 25..2 Alfred Stutterd was a businessman circa 1890.2 Alfred (and presumably his spouse Catherine) lived circa 1900 at Burnie, Tasmania.3 Alfred Stutterd (and presumably his spouse Catherine) moved to Melbourne in 1908.2
Alfred died in 1910 at the Melbourne suburb of Malvern.2,4
